These Terms govern your use of Local Counter.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Platform Role

Local Counter is strictly a directory listing platform.

  • We only display user-submitted data
  • We are not a service provider, agent, or intermediary

3. No Verification

  • Do not guarantee accuracy or authenticity
  • Do not endorse any business

4. User Obligations

Users agree:

  • To provide accurate and lawful information
  • Not to submit false, misleading, or illegal content
  • Not to violate any third-party rights

5. Full User Responsibility

Users are fully responsible for:

  • Content they submit
  • Any legal consequences
  • Any disputes arising from their listings

6. No Business Relationship

Local Counter is not involved in any transaction between:

  • Users
  • Businesses

We are not responsible for:

  • Service quality
  • Payments
  • Disputes

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Local Counter shall not be liable for:

  • Any damages (direct or indirect)
  • Loss of data, business, or profits
  • Fraud, misrepresentation, or disputes

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Local Counter from:

  • Claims
  • Damages
  • Legal actions

arising from your use of the Platform or submitted content.

9. Content Removal Rights

We reserve full rights to:

  • Remove any listing
  • Suspend or block users
  • Take action without prior notice

10. Intellectual Property

  • Platform design, content, and branding belong to Local Counter
  • Users cannot copy or reuse without permission

11. Third-Party Links

We are not responsible for:

  • External websites
  • Third-party services

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be subject to jurisdiction of courts in:

We may update these Terms anytime.

Continued use means acceptance.

15. Free Platform Disclaimer

Currently, Local Counter is a completely free-to-use platform. We do not charge any fees for listing, claiming, or using the Platform.

  • No payments are collected by Local Counter.
  • As no fees are charged, no refunds or cancellations apply.
  • We reserve the right to introduce paid services or premium features in the future with prior notice.

16. Grievance Redressal

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Local Counter has appointed a Grievance Officer to address complaints or concerns relating to the Platform or its content.

17. Prohibited Content

Users must not upload, publish, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that:

  • Is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, pedophilic, or invasive of another person’s privacy.
  • Is harmful to minors in any manner.
  • Infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property or proprietary rights.
  • Contains software viruses, malware, or other malicious code intended to damage, disrupt, or interfere with the Platform or other systems.
  • Threatens the unity, integrity, defense, security, or sovereignty of India, public order, or otherwise violates applicable Indian law.
  • Is unlawful, misleading, fraudulent, or otherwise prohibited under applicable laws.

18. Takedown Policy

If any individual believes that content available on the Platform violates these Terms, applicable law, or their legal rights, they may submit a written complaint to the Grievance Officer.

Upon receiving a valid complaint, Local Counter may review the reported content and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the disputed content within 36 hours in accordance with applicable laws and intermediary due diligence requirements.
